Ang Wei Neng
Ang Wei Neng has been an MP for Jurong GRC, a member of Parliamentary Estimate Committee as well as a member of Government Parliamentary Committee for Education and Transport since 2011.
Wei Neng is the Advisor to Grace Orchard School, a member of The Enabling Master II and a member of the Implementation Committee of The Enabling Master Plan II. He is also the Advisor to Singapore Renovation Contractors and Material Suppliers Association (RCMA) as well as a member of SME Workgroup, Revitalise Heartland Shops Committee, Publicity and Outreach Committee for the Lee Kuan Yew Fund for Bilingualism and Chinese Community Liaison Group.
Wei Neng started his career with the Singapore Police Force after receiving the Public Service Commission (PSC) scholarship. Thereafter, he held various managerial positions in operations and business development in Asia before joining SBS Transit Ltd in 2004. He currently serves as the Senior Vice President with SBS Transit Ltd, managing a fleet of 1,600 public buses and about 3,400 employees, including 3,200 bus drivers.
Wei Neng graduated from the National University of Singapore with an Honours Degree in Economics and later obtained a Master of Business Administration from the Nanyang Technological University. He is married with four children.
