Tan Wu Meng
Wu Meng is a doctor specialising in Medical Oncology, looking after cancer patients from all walks of life. He worked in the Singapore General Hospital and National Cancer Centre Singapore for many years, before joining Parkway Cancer Centre in 2015.
In his public sector career, Wu Meng held clinician leadership appointments including Director of Outpatient Care for the Division of Medical Oncology.
From 2006 to 2009, Wu Meng served with the North West CDC as Councillor and Vice-Chair of the Youth Works Sub-Committee. From 2007 to 2011 he was a member of the Senja-Cashew Youth Executive Committee (YEC), and sat on the Senja-Cashew Citizens' Consultative Committee (CCC) from 2010 to 2013. He is currently Vice-Chairman of Clementi CCC.
Wu Meng studied at Trinity College in the University of Cambridge, graduating with a PhD and medical degree (with Distinction in Medicine). He is married and has a young daughter.
